The Center for Research on Aggression and Victimization (CRAV) is directed by Dr. Timothy Cavell at the University of Arkansas. Primarily, CRAV's researchers are interested in the development of effective interventions for school age children that may be on their way to having problems as they grow.

Of particular interest are interventions that involve parents and mentors. Guiding much of the research is a relationship-based model of socializing children. Other projects focus on how troubled children view themselves and their relationships and how peer relationships, peer rejection, and children's social competence contribute to their adjustment.
